Blood on my hands
Well, on my clothes anyway. Between my charts and my cup it is rare for me to have issues like this anymore, but every so often my body likes change things a little to keep me from being complacent. Come on! This is day three! I should be able last until I go home at this point in the cycle. Oh well, at least I wore dark clothes.

20 random facts about me
nidoking
tagged me, so now I have to state 20 random facts about me and then tag
as many people as the number of minutes it takes me to do it.
- I am nearsighted. I can see relatively clearly about out to arms length and then things start to get fuzzy.
- I am married. We celebrated our first anniversary last month.
- I knit. I knit a lot. I knit while watching television, reading,
walking, talking on the phone. I knit at work while I wait for my
project to recompile, or a test to run, or during dull corporate
training sessions. I often knit things just to prove I can.
- My supper tonight has consisted of goat cheese mixed with homemade pesto, served on crackers with a glass of Pinot Noir.
- I have a terrible caffeine habit. I generally start every day with a can or two of Citrus Drop (a Mountain Dew knockoff).
- I don't often notice my clutter until I am completely surrounded by it. A large portion of the clutter tends to be yarn.
- I have vague plans of participating in NaNoWriMo this year. Last year my attempt failed due to an ill-timed cold and extreme lack of plot, setting, or characters.
- I am currently knitting an Orenburg-style lace shawl for my
mother. Unfortunately, I have been spinning the yarn myself and have
run out of fiber before running out of pattern.
- I am resistant to carrying a purse, but am gradually being converted by the convenience of keeping my stuff in my knitting bag.
- Sometimes, when I'm wearing a long skirt, I don't wear panties and feel slightly naughty all day long. ;)
- I have never left the lower 48 states. Someday I should travel abroad.
- Shiny things distract me.
- My hair is long enough to be past my bra-strap, but hasn't reached my waist yet.
- I currently weigh a bit under 150 pounds, which is a bit more
than I would like. Actually, that isn't quite right. I wouldn't mind
weighing 150 if my most snug pair of jeans still fit, but for now they
are not making any public appearances.
- I like to watch cartoons on Saturday mornings.
- I have alternate Fridays off from work in exchange for working nine-hour days Monday-Thursday.
- When I have my period, I use a menstrual cup, which is far
superior to disposable products. (Mine is the Keeper, but I've read
good things about DivaCup as well. See menstrual_cups for more information)
- Recently, my husband and I have been reading the Clan of the Cave Bear
books and mocking the sex scenes. Well, actually, we've been mocking
more than that. ( "I love you! I hate me! Let's have sex!" The hero is
well-hung, the heroine is very clever, blah, blah, blah) It's fun!
- I have trouble meeting people. Right now, most of people I know in this city I have met through my husband or through work.
- When left to my own devices, I tend to shift my days and nights
until they are almost inverted. However, I rather like being awake
fairly early in the morning, when I can actually manage it.
Hmm, that took at least as many minutes as I have LJ friends, so if you
